Leavitt Funeral Home was great when my mother passed away suddenly last month. I meet with Sean Plant and he was very kind and patient with me through the process of arranging the viewing and service. Thank you to all the Leavitt’s staff for their care during my difficult time. And thanks for checking on me after the service and the following days!

Our family has entrusted Leavitts for many years. Recently, my sister passed away. Leavitts offered comfort, understanding and compassion to our family. Leavitts has met our needs and shown respect while providing everything we asked for and more during the viewing and the service, and everything in between, which has made our grieving process much easier. Losing my father was incredibly difficult, but Kitty and Stephen’s guidance from the very first meeting made a painful process much easier to bear. They listened to my wishes with so much patience and ensured that the final farewell was beautiful for my grandmother to have a few more moments with her son. He looked so peaceful and I genuinely felt love from the whole team. I even made a last minute request and there wasn’t a hesitation to make it happen. I have recommended them to multiple families and know they are in good hands. I’m so grateful that I made the right choice.

With the sudden passing of my husband, Richard Wyatt, there was only one funeral home that came to mind and that was Leavitt. Richard's family had depended on them for their assistance during like times and so it felt right to call upon them again. Our experience has been the best and I would not hesitate to encourage friends and relatives to use their services in their time of need. Thank you, Leavitt, for being there for us.

Shawn Lauderman treated our family like family when we were experiencing the most traumatic experience of our lives loosing my granddaughter at 2yrs 10months old to RSV and Rhinovirus on March 18,2026. He done an excellent job at explaining the process to a family that was in shock and traumatized. His patience and compassion was comforting in a situation we never imagined possible. He didn’t hesitate to answer questions in a way that was easy to understand to a family who hadn’t been through any deaths till this point since 2004. I will never forget his compassion for his job and his clients to make closure for Serena Stout respectful and beautiful. And that was extra hard dealing with a blended family. I admire the Leavitt’s and Shawn’s dedication to their work. I will never forget it and if I experience another death I would pick them 1000 times over. Thank you Shawn & Leavitt’s for going above and beyond!❤️🛐🙏

All of the staff were professional and compassionate. Other funeral homes are run like businesses; Leavitts is run with more care and kindness. I highly recommend without reservation.
